Why the Via Jutlandica

So why the Jutlandica:
- be on my own where it is unreasonable to expect others to speak English
- get some speaking experience with my basic German
- see the Baltic Sea, Schleswig-Holstein and possibly the North Sea
- hike again (my third time) thru Germany in the winter

Checklist for the Flight to Hamburg and Return

Buy plane tickets: Done
    Rochester NY (3:30 pm) -> 
            Philadelphia (8:00 pm : 3.0 hr layover) ->

                    Boston ( 5:00 pm - 2.0 hr layover) -> Rochester NY (7:00 pm)

Entered passport info, emergency contact for AA, FinnAir and Iberia.

Passport / TSA Precheck / Global Entry: Done. At least six months valid at end of travel.
